What are some poor play calling early in the games causing slow starts? Considering the team is averaging 48PPG, that would make me assume the play calling/game plan is effective. Which leads me to the conclusion that they are just having slows starts in the beginning due to execution, maybe because the average age of the offense is 20.5 yrs old. I’m confused as to what you’re seeing that I’m not.

Scored 45+ points in the first 3 games for the first time since 2019. I get it’s not as sexy as we want it to be, but they’re wearing down opposing teams and it’s paying dividends in the 4th quarter

@SpaceWrangler4 @mattbegreatyt Lack of preparation?! They scored 50 points?? Just took them time to get rolling, which seems to me the right game-plan/adjustments where made, players just got to a slow start to execute the plays, which maybe has something to do with how YOUNG the offense is.

@benrolltide1 @bss123788 @_NickKelly They have all the right to act that way, but don’t get mad when the OC is preaching to his players to not act that way but instead stay resilient and focus all 4 QTRs. Can’t win football games if you players start pouting like the fans after rough start🤷‍♂️

I’m not saying he needs to be a pro but at least see the full picture. He is saying that Grubb is getting “out coached” but he’s averaging 47 points a game?? Blaming Grubb for slow starts, but against Kentucky our young QB throws a pick because of a poor decision with his passing lanes, against FSU Grubb is trying to establish a run game early when they are blitzing heavy but we are not creating gaps and exploding through them.

He is absolutely not wrong. Football is a 4QTR game and booing in the first half is not it.

People blaming the play calling are not seeing the same games I’m seeing I guess. 9/10 times, I see young players not executing how the play is supposed to drawn up.

@BobbbbyLight @mattbegreatyt Coaches can’t make players do anything. They put the plan in, coach them on it in practice, and it’s the players jobs to go out and execute the plan. When your right tackle gets grilled and causes your QB to miss a wide open TE for a TD is not Ryan Grubbs fault.
