No not the same amount of product sold. Still less. A lot less! Remember all of that product sitting on Pokemon Center that wasnt sold for years? That didnt sell. And you know what else happened because it didn't sell? They didnt print it again, which means they didnt sell it again, and again, and again. By your own admission, they are now at max capacity but presumably were not before. The secondary market IS what drives collectables. If the cards were worth nothing, people dont buy the boxes. Evidenced between ScVi1-5 and every other TCG thats printed itself to the ground and made hits too easy. Ive been collecting and playing TCGs since 2001 and the ONE THING that decides if it stays around or not, is if it has secondary market value. Magic. Pokemon. One Piece. The rest are dead and we all know it. And why? Overprinting and no value.
@caitoz I can tell you as an American living in Iran, if this is "authoritarianism" I will take it any day over what we have in d US. Iran is a safe & healthy society versus d madness happening in the States. & it would be even better if d US hadnt waged a hybrid war on it for 47 years
