Happy #ArborDay! The @NYSE wanted trees and the @arborday team to take center stage at its iconic opening bell ceremony. What a way to celebrate this important day.
Now more than ever, trees are vital to our planet. Not only do trees provide beauty and relaxation, but they also make areas more sustainable and resilient. Thank you to the @weatherchannel with @JimCantore and @StephMcMahon for speaking with me about our pledge.
This is a turning point for the planet. Experts agree a colossal amount of trees need to be planted.
The future will take all of us doing whatever we can. It’s why we’re evolving our brand to bring everyone in on the same team to plant a better world. Including you.
It’s more than a new look. It’s a renewed commitment to being bold enough to shape a better future, together.
Beyond proud of our team at @arborday for meeting the moment.
Hope for the planet is bold. But at the Arbor Day Foundation, we hear a better future calling. For more than 50 years, we’ve inspired people to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees. But to plant at the speed we need to change the world, we have to grow to meet this moment.
That’s why we’re evolving our brand. To connect our vibrant network of thinkers, doers, organizers, leaders, supporters, and planters with one another, and with a better future. By teaming up with us, we’re making it clear that each of us are part of the same living, growing movement.
It’s more than a new look. It’s a renewed commitment to being bold enough to shape a better future, together. When progress feels impossible, with support or shovels, you can make a greener world happen.
In this moment when the future health of the planet can feel uncertain, we need to be bold enough to believe in better days ahead. To put hope in motion by doing the work our world needs from us.
That’s why our global nonprofit is evolving its brand.
