This claim is factually incorrect and a lie from the pit of hell based on available data and verifiable sources

- Nigeria was the largest economy in Africa with GDP of between $470B-$480B

- Nigeria was the biggest producer of rice in Africa

- inflation rate was 22.41% as at May 2023

- Nigeria had the largest fertilizer plant in Africa

- By May 2023 Dangote Refinery, the world’s largest single train refinery with capacity of 650k barrels per day and Africa’s largest was commissioned by PMB

- several dozen modular refineries were already operational as at May 2023

- the AKK pipeline project, one of the most ambitious Gas pipeline projects anywhere in Africa had reached 70% as at May 2023

There is no way this repeated lies can be taken seriously by any sane person considering the fact that the very first step taken by the regime was naming a very large cabinet, arguably the largest since our return to democracy in 1999

There is no way a collapsing economy could have carried such high cost of governance

Others included renovation of presidential & vp quarters in Abuja/Lagos, Dodan Barracks Lagos, N22 Billion for the VP residence in Abuja, purchase of presidential yacht, an Airbus A330 jumbo presidential jet and new Cadillac Escalade limo

From the same near collapsed economy Tinubu managed to raise funds to start the construction of the $12.5 Billion controversial Lagos/Ibadan coastal highway in March of 2024 few months after assuming office

2. Claim:

That Nigeria made advances by refining pms domestically for the first time in 4 decades

This is another big lie from the pit of hell

Some sources actually put that at 28/35 years ago that Nigeria last refined pms in commercial quantity domestically

While the old unit in PH refinery had been idle & stopped refining around the 1990s, the newer unit did refine crude till as recent as 2015

Let’s even for the sake of this fact checking agree without conceding this false claim was true, the latest advance by refining pms domestically in commercial quantity was an achievement of President Buhari of blessed memory not Tinubu

We have to put context to this point
