That said… You just had an off-day on Thursday & will have another one this Thursday.

You need to win ballgames. At least give yourself a chance to do it.

I don't think Joe is the best manager, but I do think people put way too much blame on him

He can't do anything right in their mind.

If he plays them every day, and someone gets hurt, then it's his fault for running his players into the ground. If he plays them often, with off days here and there, he is a bad manager for not letting his guys play

The last couple of seasons, the Astros have told us that they would like to give their older guys more days off. It makes too much sense to do that. That's the only way you give them healthy.

Off days are just a part of this sport and we have to deal with it
