I played Anthony Gilbert’s Moonfaring when I was an undergrad. We invited him to the performance and he was so generous with his time. I fondly remember him bringing out a box of aboriginal instruments that inspired the piece and talking us through them. He will be sorely missed
Massive thanks to @laure_artin , Mason Moy, and Holly knoch for playing my new piece last night! Their playing is absolutely gorgeous https://t.co/L8DpyLx7U9
Had a lot of fun recording Flowers Tannenbaum’s percussion quartet ‘1582 shipping containers’ yesterday. I’m really enjoying getting to do more new music at the moment
I’m often sceptical about listening to any super long Feldman but this was such a nice environment to listen in with people napping, knitting, drinking, and just wandering around. More gigs like this please!
@CoMAManchester#Allcomers workshop going strong! Having so much fun rehearsing @XiaLeonSloane's 'and the leaves still grow' - looking forward to presenting it to everyone at our 3pm showcase @st_whalley#CoMAFest
My flatmate found this autoharp in a charity shop, don't think it's seen much love or tuning over the years but it has a really haunting quality to it. Thought it warranted some rambling improv! https://t.co/5jdfqUsKA3
