Promises?
Let's not forget:
- Promised no tax rises, then put through tax rises.
- Promised lower energy costs, then championed the highest electricity costs in the world.
- Promised to "smash the gangs" that arrange transport for illegal migrants. Then saw record numbers of illegals arriving on our shores.
- Promised to freeze council tax... Mine went up by a record 5% in a single year.
- Cancelled the winter fuel allowance. Then wasted our money on 2947361948 other things.
- Is still leading a war against British farmers, whilst also giving away £500 million to foreign farmers.
- Promised better opportunities for our children. Then introduced VAT on private schools, causing many of them to close down and those kids to struggle to find public school placements.
- Told the USA that we still have free speech, whilst arresting thousands of people (more than Russia!) every year for hurty posts on the internet.
- Promised to secure our borders. Our borders seem as porous as ever.
- Promised to put more cash in your pocket. This is the highest cost of living that I've experienced in my lifetime.
- Promised to grow the economy. Then shafts businesses with even more tax, being sure to prevent any growth.
- Promised to make our streets safer. Then released loads of prisoners and watched knife crime reach new levels.
- Lied to WASPI women.
- Promised to uphold democracy, then cancelled a load of local elections.
I could go on.
@BasilTheGreat Isn't it funny how when it comes to talking about colonialism they suddenly have no problems in defining what it is to be English?
Yeah, funny that.
@Robbie_Reasons Isn't it funny how when it comes to talking about colonialism they suddenly have no problems in defining what it is to be English?
Yeah, funny that.
It's getting to the point now where I feel like we need world war 3 to happen. If this is the kind of thing that some people want to get animated about then they really need their perspective on the world to be reset.
These people have clearly never experienced hardship.
There's still poverty, genocide and cruel treatment of millions of people around the globe, but they focus their energy on some costumes not being inclusive?
@DavidLammy Wasn't this a thing before? It was called Marriage. And your bellend head honcho Mr Blair got rid of any benefits that this brought for a couple.
@HeartsofOakUK I like how they buried the fact that this was last year a bit further down the page.
Regardless, deport. This is the same guy who tried to help his murderous brother get away with the killing of Henry and lied to the police on numerous occasions.
Deport. Now.
@KieraDiss In their defence, the girl (I use that term loosely) swung at the guard first.
She was lucky she didn't end up being a member of the FAFO club.
I’m getting sick and tired of Keir Starmer and other left-wing politicians cherry-picking one segment of the Nowak family’s statement about not wanting this to cause further division in an attempt to silence political opponents through guilt.
That isn’t all the Nowak family said.
They also said that Henry was treated differently by the police to Vickrum Digwa. They also said they wanted the Kirpan banned along with all other knives.
Starmer has respected neither of those wishes. He has denied that two-tier policing exists and refused to support banning the Kirpan.
So please don’t start lecturing other politicians about respecting the family’s wishes when you are not doing so yourself.
@Artemisfornow Not to mention the amount of attention he gave to the George Floyd protests when it all kicked off.
I don't know who he thinks he is. Talking about British people as "we" - like he's one of us. What a dickhead.
@deuxvingarian Yes. But the reality is that this is already happening, it's just not directly sanctioned by the government.
We all see it with how criminals of different ethnicities are sentenced for various crimes.
@NotFarLeftAtAll So someone was rude to her and she just assumed that it's because of her race?
She brings race into this video several times, none of the people she mentions did.
I think you missed the point here. Those who didn't want to wear a mask or be locked down were shunned from society, chased down in public by angry lefties with their phones pointed at them, called names, had stuff thrown at them, many were sacked from the jobs etc.
But when the BLM riots happened, the same people that attacked the non-mask/anti-lockdown people were out in public protesting, no mask in sight, because racism?
They were pointing out the hypocrisy, not partaking in it.
