Incredibly, Democrats in Virginia’s House of Delegates - led by Delegate Rae Cousins - have introduced a bill (HB 863) that would REDUCE the criminal penalties for the unlawful possession or use of a firearm in our Commonwealth’s daycare centers and schools.
@RightOnCrime
The same bill (HB 863) also reduces criminal penalties for:
* Manufacturing and distribution of child pornography
* Malicious wounding of a law enforcement officer;
* Aggravated DWI's and DWI's resulting in the death of another.
Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who have served our nation with courage. Your sacrifice makes our work possible, and your example reminds us of the true meaning of service 🇺🇸
Right On Crime is especially proud to recognize our own directors who have served in uniform. Your dedication to our country and continued service through your work inspire us all.

Fixing the flaws in our criminal justice system often means working together—even with those whose perspectives differ from ours.
Right On Crime recently partnered with groups across the political spectrum to develop a new set of bipartisan principles to guide criminal justice policy change in the years ahead.

🧵 1/4: No one’s talking about it—but the “Fighting Overcriminalization in Federal Regulation” Executive Order is a HUGE win for everyday Americans. Thank you @POTUS 👏 @FDRLST@tolmanbrett https://t.co/imrmPZc4II
On Veterans Day, we honor those who have served their Country honorably, and in doing so sacrificed so much to protect our liberty and way of life. ROC highlights the need to support ALL veterans, even those who are serving active terms of incarceration.
Many veterans find themselves in the criminal justice system due to conditions they suffered while in service to our country.
This Veterans' Day, Right On Crime’s resident veterans @ChrisCochranFLA, @GJComley, and @DannyMurphySWVA discuss the importance of caring for these individuals and how it ultimately leads to public safety and a stronger nation on a brand new episode of The ROC Podcast 🇺🇸 #VeteransDay

Fact!
If my close friend Brett Tolman @tolmanbrett becomes the Attorney General I know that the laws will be applied fairly to all Americans regardless of their political beliefs.
There is no one smarter or that has more integrity than Brett.
"Today's ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court validates that malicious prosecution claims are important and cannot be hidden or shielded when prosecutors bring multiple charges, some less legitimate than others," says @RachelWrightROC , National Policy Director for Right On Crime. @USSupremeCourt@tolmanbrett #ItCanHappenToYou
