Brain tumour affects the lives of so many and less than 20% of those diagnosed survive beyond five years. Thank you to @braintumourrsch and my constituents @LevisStar for organising such an inspiring event in Parliament tonight.
A brilliant talk by our patron @CapriceBourret_. She spoke about her brain tumour diagnosis story and what’s happened since.

@EssexWeather@Dannysfund we are helping 15 children every week paying for private physio teaching them to walk again after a brain tumour diagnosis. Everything we raise every penny goes to helping others all for free. In memory of our son Danny who passed away at 11 yrs old 💙
Danny was just 10 when he was diagnosed with a #braintumour. He died only 8 months later. Today would have been his 18th birthday. Families and businesses throughout the community are showing their support for @Dannysfund, our member #charity.
Today St Nicholas’ goes green in honour of Danny Green who was born 18 years ago today. And we salute his remarkable parents & sister who, with @Dannysfund, have channelled unspeakable grief into something beautiful for those living with the after effects of a brain tumour.
Good news from @TeenageCancer and @PHE_uk - more young people are surviving cancer. However, brain tumours remain the chief cause of cancer deaths in children and young people, which is why further research is so vital. You can read the report here: https://t.co/EvjrEWY82v
