She threatened to sue them for cooperating with federal law. Now they’re suing her.
The ban that was supposed to handcuff ICE just triggered a legal revolt from law enforcement across the state. Nassau, Rensselaer, and more than a dozen others are pushing back. ICE isn’t going anywhere. The law will still be enforced.
