Wood Stork enjoying some crayfish for breakfast. This juvenile wood stork has become quite the local celebrity here in Colorado. The last time one was seen in this area was in 1934!

I love a good low-key photo opportunity. This snowy egret was perfectly positioned in the soft morning light, and the mirror-like reflection made the moment even more special.

The weather has been a bit rainy, but our group has had some fantastic photo opportunities during Lisa Langell's Magic of Alaska workshops.
