The reaction to the Golden Axe series trailer shows me that we are ready for a return to sincerity in media. But I want to know how we got here.... Cause a decade ago, you would be crucified for NOT being meta and cynical. I wanted sincerity back then but it was frowned upon.
I feel like I need to reiterate this: Chuds cannot "make" things fail by ourselves.
There is no "thumbs down" system that subtracts a view each time we complain.
Wokes simply are not supporting what they say they want, or don't have the numbers for their support to matter.
Recently I dropped the first few minutes of my “Real History of the Civil Rights Movement” on X. It went viral because it directly challenged mainstream myths and narratives. And that’s the point of free speech. So today I’m publishing the full video on X:
State multiculturalism means crawling through the childhood messages of a dead man to smear him as a racist and justify his murder.
It will stay this way so long as "don't look back in anger" and "don't stoke division" work to control public reactions.
The United States Mission to Belgium condemns, in the strongest terms, Ghent University’s retaliation against an American scholar following his accurate whistleblower reporting on academic fraud.
The United States government regularly funds and supports research, academic exchanges, and other engagements with overseas universities. Dishonest, corrupt institutions that engage in, or reward, scapegoating mob behavior are not desirable partners for us. This is particularly true where the purpose and effect of the scapegoating is to punish accurate journalism unearthing academic dishonesty. We are therefore reviewing any relationships we have with Ghent University.
Bad-faith idealogues will try to make this a referendum on the content of Cofnas’s scholarship – or polemical distortions of it. That’s wrong. Free speech means that controversial views are protected. And Cofnas’s views were known to Ghent University when he was hired.
The ultimate purpose of freedom of speech is to overturn lies, fraud, and false ideologies. This is precisely what Cofnas was doing, and precisely the reason his home institution wants to silence him.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
The gas mechanic in GTA6 is further proof that Rockstar is a one of a kind development studio. Just when you think that they’ve exhausted their ingenuity, that their creative well has run dry, they figure out a new way to make their games less fun to play
The Early Life gaijin™ always shows its true colors, going on a tirade about being responsible for creating (some) Japanese media (uncredited), saying they can't complain about ramen shops becoming non-Japanese because ramen isn't *really* Japanese, and that the JP government doesn't care to protect their culture (which is only true if you consider they allow people like this in their country).
Foreigners pretending they're more valuable than they truly are & want to protect Japanese culture while actively attempting to subvert it are an enemy to Japan.
The Japanese "looking within" for solutions means deporting all of the riffraff set on corrupting their culture through deception.
Since when is men killing children more accepted in western society? I dont remember an outcry like with this case...
Also, it instills punishment for the crime, justice for the surviving family, and a way to dissuade copy cats.
Also death penalty is just expensive because of the cries. It could be around a buck for a bullet.
As someone who grew up with Golden Axe, I really don't like this. Gillius doesn't sound as old as he should, the jokes fall flat, a lot just feels like it's just laughing at the IP rather than being made with love. "Well, that just happened!" is not what I think of for Golden Axe
Whilst it may not be headline-grabbing, this work matters.
We are building a council-by-council ledger of asylum and migration-related spending across Britain.
For every area, we intend to track the spending, contracts, charities, companies, accounts, trustees, directors, officers, employees and relevant public officials using verifiable public records.
Crucially, we will also compare neighbouring towns and councils.
Why does one council spend more than the one next door? Which organisations receive the money? Who approved it? How have spending, asylum accommodation, HMOs and the supporting local infrastructure changed over time?
And also, what is coming their way in the near future....
That comparison is particularly important now because the political composition of many councils could change at the next round of local elections.
Residents should have the evidence before they vote.
The objective is not merely to produce national numbers. It is to make the system visible at street, town and council level, so people can scrutinise decisions, question their representatives and hold public bodies and organisations receiving public money to account.
Gloucester is one of the areas now being mapped in detail.
We are building the ledger for the whole country.
I don't understand why video games to TV/movie always have to have the quirky chungus comedy approach. A grimdark Golden Axe series by Genndy Tartakovsky would've been AWESOME
This is what being hounded actually looks like. An academic has been suspended, not for professional misconduct or plagiarism or bad teaching, but because his opinions are unpopular.
India is the ultimate manifestation of the tragedy of the commons. One and a half billion people living in a pulsating, ever-growing Petri dish of near-zero social trust, in which preemptive exploitation becomes the norm: “If I don’t take the free resource now, someone else will, so I might as well take it”.
Never understood why so many companies choose fighting games out of all genres to expand their IPs with. They’re niche by design, hard to balance, die fast, and probably won't make much money even if the IP's popular and has huge marketing.
Just make an RPG and/or beat em up.
spencer would be a lot more interesting if he actually engaged with Christian claims in good faith and with sincere intellectual curiosity and rigor, but instead he just rehashes tired old discredited fedora objections with a thin veneer of “appolloist” novelty.
it’s boring
“George Lucas named Han Solo that way as a reference to Solomon” is so fucking funny, like something you’d hear some crackhead blabbering about on the street.
It's fine to speculate about what subversive messages may be hidden in film.
The problem is Spencer/Brahmin are not just offering their film interpretations, they are presenting a sweeping historical theory that alleges a multi-millennia conspiracy whose symbols are visible in media. That establishes a burden of proof.
As I said in the essay, imagine if Kevin MacDonald presented Culture of Critique without a single piece of evidence in it to demonstrate the intention of the Jewish intellectuals he studied.
Richard is far too invested in being a contrarian to hop on Reta or Tirzipitide like everyone else. He will now do the exact opposite and in an ever shrinking population, become a world consuming star that devours every mushroom Swiss burger on earth. This was all part of the plan.
You have to respect it.
