UAE HAS BEEN GENOCIDING MAASAI IN TANZANIA SO THEY COULD DISPLACE THEM AND BUILD A RESORT FOR RICH SONS OF EMARATIS TO COME AND HUNT AFRICAN LIONS FOR FUN.
AND THEY’VE BEEN COOKING THIS FOR YEARS.
SPREAD AWARENESS FAST AND STAND WITH MAASAI BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE ✌🏽
What’s happening in Sudan? Why don’t you make it clear that the UAE is causing a genocide?
Also, let’s use images that respect people’s dignity or expose the crimes committed by the UAE-backed Rapid Support Forces. This isn’t a campaign to tarnish the country’s reputation, but to show that Sudan is facing a crisis created by the UAE.
They tried to do a Jeremy Corbyn on her but she unapologetically faced them down. A win against corporatism, war criminals, corruption and all the dirty tricks of the establishment. But most of all an emphatic win for the Irish people. 🇮🇪

That last one had little to do with anything, I've been working on Shipman report for my Femicide map and he was on my mind.

I know this is Twitter and not college. 🤣
I'll just give the links if anybody ever wants to find the statistics used in this thread.

I don't watch much TV so I don't know much about Garron.
I know many comedians pivot to the goldmine of "perpetually feeling oppressed" bigots, who want to blame immigrants for everything.
If that's not his deal, then he should maybe consider reading more before talking.
In summary, video came across as repackaged far-right talking points that are mostly spouted by the worst people.
That those talking points came after saying "Conor McGregor is not a good person but..." probably compounds the reaction to his sentiment.
Stupid video, at best.

"When you continuously suppress what people are feeling, you turn them towards more extreme beliefs, you increase their distrust in the government and you push people towards racism."
I mean, "the government made me racist" is a stupid and intellectually vapid argument.
Not just a source but a definition of what he's comparing and a reference point for comparison.
Violence or all crime? Much less safe compared to when?
Factually the murder rate in Ireland in 2024 was the 4th lowest in the last 50 years and one of the lower rates in the world.
Quote:
"Our towns and especially our cities are becoming much less safe, now that's not just because of immigration, there's a lot of factors to that. But if you can't see that's happening then you have not left your house."
Again, this sort of claims requires a source.
Moreover, the contention that quality-of-life is "going down for most people" requires a source.
Every source I've checked, from the European Union to the UN Development Index to OECD Well Being Index, said quality-of-life has been rising.
Cite a source or don't say it. 🤷♂️
Quote:
"Along with this (too much immigration), Ireland continues to become one of the richest countries in the world while most people's quality-of-life is going down."
Conceptually it's dumb-as-bricks to tether migration to quality-of-life.
Migration flows are transient.
To my mind it's the height of cognitive dissonance and hypocrisy to complain about 125,000 people fleeing war, famine and persecution.
Millions of people left this island in broadly similar circumstances.
Those Irish people went everywhere, too, not just to USA and UK.
