@todayistommorr1 The same fallacy does not apply to MNF, as its impact is delta-driven, not gamma-driven. I consider MNF innovative and useful. MNF tracks new options positions, which have to be delta-hedged and thus impact underlying market spot price in the direction of MM counterparty's delta.

Delta-adjusted gamma = alluring fallacy, I fear. The call-put-distinction it wants to adjust for is already built into Black-Scholes by virtue of short Calls having -1-0 deltas and short Puts having 0-1 deltas while both share neg. gamma.

The intention to build a more refined and intuitive GEX tool honors you and I'm fully on board with regards to the superiority of case-by-case, slippage-derived (OPRA) deduction of which side of any transaction is MM and which is directional retail/institutions.
