@Thirst60 it always just supposed to be a walk up for the intro and a zoom in for the win. Like, Jam is the only character who's win animation does a hard cut instead of the standard zoom in.
Tho it is what it is, Answer's animations also looked way better than the base roster in Xrd
@lizibunn I imagine it'd be the same way they handled it when they didn't know about it
Cuz realistically what's the difference, there was no exit in the first place. It's just that now they can rest assured that their real selves are fine, once they come to terms with the circumstances
@Masilva_IGuess@elentariseph@SMGold_ forgot to add this in the screenshot but damn, you're really fixated on the slavery thing huh? it's like you think Vergil isn't Vergil without the enslavement
@elentariseph@Masilva_IGuess@SMGold_ 3/3 fidelity varies from adaptation to adaptation, but to completely deny a writing direction because it's not how it's supposed to happen rather than legitimate reasons on why it wouldn't work well just shows stubborness.
@elentariseph@Masilva_IGuess@SMGold_ 2/3 that other guy just cannot accept a reality where Vergil is written to serve Mundus even if it was written perfectly
"omg mundus was his enslaver" yeah, in a completely different universe from this one, how does one concern the other?
@Masilva_IGuess@SMGold_ 2/2 Even if it Adi wrote a perfect situation for Vergil to willingly work under Mundus, you still won't be happy!
Because you can never come to terms with the fact that this is an alternative universe, and there can be creative liberty!
I understand now!
@Masilva_IGuess@SMGold_ 1/2 Holy shit, I finally understand!
You don't think that the decisions made in the Netflix show are illogical. You just think that it's wrong cuz it's not how it goes in the games!!!
@LRyVA this is a HQ render all the way back in DMC3
I think the intention has always been blue/green for one eye and red for the other
the color was just made more uniform and vibrant in the netflix show
@SunnyD_FGC oh no they can keep this if they want, I think it's exactly like you said, keeps the game interesting
But as a player I hate that he can do it lmao
@Masilva_IGuess@SMGold_ 2/2 It would be weird if Vergil liked Mundus in the games, but that's not the case here. Mundus didn't torture Vergil in the show (well, his subordinates did it, but Vergil didn't know that), all that Vergil saw was Mundus saving him from being tortured by Argosax's followers.
@Masilva_IGuess@SMGold_ 1/2 Vergil wasn't enslaved by Mundus in the netflix show? He was only enslaved by Mundus in the timeline of the games. You're combining the two continuities.
