A couple years ago someone told me to give up - said I was wasting my time and not making the “right” music.
But this was never about fame or fast money. It was about telling my truth and connecting with the people who needed it.
I’ve won, lost, won again… and I’m still here.
If you know your WHY, don’t quit. Your people will find you. 🐦🔥

@DonJoshTeri@Twitchnaija My guy you want to bliv this so bad, the rich playing the unity card doesn’t mean the biases isn’t hidden beneath. It's a Nigerian issue, not just a "poor people" problem. We generalize it, but overlook our own biases.
@DonJoshTeri@Twitchnaija Rich Nigerians favor their own, hiding biases behind class you don’t see, It's a deep rooted issue, often masked by class distinctions but it is rooted in underlying biases. They are just good at faking like they get along with each other
@DonJoshTeri@Twitchnaija No in Nigeria it doesn’t stop at that, you can have that and still face tribal/religious difficulties. The respect you speak of na fugazi. What we are battling in this country today is rooted in our society, the matter deep and today’s gen just wan sweep am under like it’s nothing
