My field as an ENT Surgeon we no reach 500 wey Dey Nigeria,
For Lagos we no reach 30. Inside this 30 wey remain some na half leg in Nigeria and half leg abroad

The truth is just as we have insecurity crisis so is medical insecurity.
Nigeria is in a denial medical crisis .
WHO recommends 1:600 doctor-patient ratio; Nigeria is closer to 1:5,000 the government acts as though there is a surplus.

The young doctors don’t even listen to our begging again to even stay a little while in Nigeria. Their bags are already on their way to the airport

The few ones we managed to beg to do residency are only staying to get enough money to do the foreign exams
So President Tinubu I don’t know who is advising you oo ,
Listen to NMA and revive the medical system.
Yes it will cost you an arm and a leg and your heart but Nigeria health system once reviewed can serve Africa because Nigerian doctors all over the world are amongst the best,

If there is one thing I have come to realize about life,

It is the realization that there is no problem you can't survive.

Everything revolves around your belief system. How well do you know, trust, and understand yourself?

Around the world today, many people are on the verge of giving up.
Some even did yesterday, they are no more with us today because they have somehow managed to convince themselves that life is never gonna favor them... And Mentally they have digested that.

They go to church, and all they hear is “This year is your year.”
🙂... Something they have been hearing for the past 10 years.

I understand... Anything to stay hopeful, right? I'm in for it.

But let's talk about this. What is the essence of giving up?

Maybe because it feels like a better escape route, right?

Hmm, that sounds cool. Imagine being free from all the worries and pressures of life.

But instead of giving up and ending it all,

How about .........you just keep showing up to life?

Yeah, you have been doing it... I understand.
But why not just wait it out?

Like let life be life and see where it is taking you?

More like take it as a challenge or adventure?

For me ... I think I would love to take it as a challenge, if not for anything 🤔... at least to witness the chess game of life till the very end.

Let's talk about that “chess game of life”... ♟️Chess is a game of strategy, patience, and foresight—just like life. It teaches us to value our priorities, recognize our limitations, and make calculated decisions, whether on the board or in reality.
Success comes from balance: knowing when to advance, when to retreat, and when to sacrifice for the bigger picture.
Understanding these lessons can help us navigate challenges with wisdom and grace.

I have survived every challenge I have faced in life, and every survival has taken me up the ladder.
A few months ago, I was on life support mentally, emotionally, and financially. On my birthday week, I recovered everything I had lost in the last 8 months... Everything... Time 3. Everything.

And yeah, I also almost gave up because I got tired of doing the same thing every day—I got tired of hoping.
I had it in mind to continue pushing then, but somehow i just didn't feel it was necessary. So I surrendered...

But you can't kill the spirit of a warrior. The warrior in me wakes up the next day and aims for the stars again. WE BOUNCED BACK.

So, if you should ask me how the challenge and adventure are going, I honestly will tell you that I am here until the very end.

Are there more turbulence ahead? YES. The only thing I will keep doing is “push through.”
Everything I have learned, I didn't learn easily.

Learn to manage risk:
1. ask: what is the worst case scenario? if it goes to 0, can you survive? keep your life style?
2. how many times can you afford to try?
3. do you know/understand what you are doing? if not, read/learn.
