Don’t forget: tariffs also bring in revenue.
Estimates suggest they could raise over $700 million within the first year.
That’s not a game-changer on its own, but it gives the Treasury a bit more room to maneuver—especially if paired with deficit cuts.
For my fellow Gen X friends.
There will never be another decade of time like the 80’s.
Other generations will say their’s is great but, no.
It was magical, irreplaceable, unparalleled and indescribable.
It was a time of keg parties and bonfires, movie theaters and house parties, muscle cars and lifted trucks, meeting up in store parking lots on Friday nights to see where the party was at. Beer balls and beer bongs.
There was Red Dawn, Gordon Gecko, Flock of Seagulls, and AC/DC. The Rocky Horror Picture Show and ET.
There was something for the youngest and the oldest of the generation.
We handled our business with a fist fight, one on one, after school, at the flagpole, 3pm.
We had parachute pants and Z Cavariccis. We hung out in malls and skating rinks, and concert tickets were 27 bucks.
Josten high school rings were a thing. We went to prom, whole groups of us, in limos.
We had Boone’s Farm, Bartles & James, Nips and 5 dollar solo cups was your cover charge.
16 and pregnant was a scandal not a tv show. We didn’t sell our bodies or photos online.
We had COPS and MTV, Miami Vice, Dukes of Hazard, and America’s Most Wanted.
Teachers educated, not indoctrinated. We covered our books with brown paper bags.
In high school, you were either a jock, a stoner, a punk or a nerd but you respected adults and each other.
The 80’s gave you Walk This Way by Aerosmith AND Run DMC.
Every hair band had a power ballad.
T Tops were popular and so was big hair, Bongo striped jeans and acid wash, half shirts, Adidas shell toe and work boots.
We ordered our class rings from Jostens and wore Jessica McClintock gunne sax dresses to prom and weddings.
We carried full size Aqua Net cans, wallets on chains, and everyone owned at least one Members Only jackets.
The 80’s will be cherished, Forever Faithfully…..
@DearS_o_n @Copywriting_Dad Because we don't want to call attention to ourselves. Would rather celebrate our wives or kids birthday. We just want to provide for them.

@morganisawizard Best way to manage your money is to spend your own money. Pooling it makes it easier to spend because it's not yours.
As long as both of you have careers. If not then something different.
