@TristenDIDit_@MarathonDevTeam That big of a change sounds like you had frame-gen on and it got turned off. Or your settings changed to a higher preset
@Shadowboy0126@Skarrow9 Just a reminder that Marathons original launch was scheduled a month before Arc Raiders first server slam, and has been an extraction shooter since at least 2023 when it was first teased. They couldn’t want a piece of the Arc Raiders pie, Arc Raiders didn’t exist
@TATDynamos@PaulTassi@Forbes It will, there’s no separate inventory. You don’t keep what you exfil with in the PvE mode, but there’s a currency of some sort you can redeem for items in the main modes
@Durandal7777@DirtyEffinHippy He was in one of the Vidocs around The Final Shape, he’s still there as far as I know. He also sent a letter to the new Marathon director sometime last year, so he’s probably still hanging around there doing good stuff
@PrayagBhakar@Geezaws2 The “credit screen” isn’t really credits, and for a lot of people killing the dragon is where the game really begins because of shulkers and elytra. For some people the end goal is building a cool house and they’ve never even heard of the End
@destiny_thememe The solution is to just follow the contracts. They do a solid job at getting you comfortable and move you to Dire Marsh really quick. Dire Marsh is a whole different game compared to Perimeter, much denser with enemies and players.
Treat the game like a rogue like for gear fear
@artificial0wl I think people are forgetting some things. You still have contracts to do and most of them aren’t on Cryo, so people will have to PvP if they want to progress.
It will also probably be time-gated like Cryo already is. Gets new players and adds a way to practice Cryo. Win-Win
@EnforcerNo0@scarlet_rush Jason Jones is still at Bungie as the Chief Vision Officer, I know he worked on the old ones as he’s in the credits. He probably worked on the new one too, more so the overall vision of the game than the actual coding
@formu1atool@Turtle_Proxy Since it’s the main real thing that marks an “end game” for us I’m guessing that people having it maxed out on week one was way faster than the were expecting
