sometimes I think God has a way of rewriting our plans.
I had so many plans for this year. I never imagined that halfway through it, my life would revolve around hospital visits, MRI scans, doctor’s appointments, fundraising, and praying for my mum’s healing.
The funny thing is, my mum and I have never been the conventional mother-and-daughter duo. We’ve always loved each other, but this season has brought us closer than I ever thought possible.
I’m in my twenties. She’s in her fifties. I’m not ready to do life without her, and I’m certainly not ready to watch her live every day in constant pain.
Every time I look at my mum, I remember the woman she was before the accident. Her laughter. Her strength. Her dedication to work. The way she moved through life so effortlessly. It’s heartbreaking to see someone who has always been there for everyone else now needing help just to get through the day.
If love alone could heal, my mum would have been back on her feet a long time ago, and I would never have imagined asking strangers for help.
But here I am.
Holding on to hope.
Hope that we’ll raise the funds for her spinal decompression surgery. Hope that the surgery will be successful. Hope that soon, I’ll get to watch her walk comfortably again, laugh freely again, and enjoy many more healthy years with us.
To every single person who has donated, reposted our appeal, prayed for us, checked in, or simply encouraged us, thank you. Your kindness is carrying my family through these very difficult days, and I don’t take a single act of love for granted.
We’re not there yet. We still have a long journey ahead, and we still need your support. Every token counts and is deeply appreciated. Please continue to share our appeal, and if you know any philanthropists, organizations, bloggers, influencers, or anyone who may be able to help, kindly connect us. One introduction could make all the difference.
Thank you for believing with us, praying with us, and reminding us that we’re not walking this journey alone.
No daughter ever imagines having to ask the world for help like this.
But love makes you do things you never thought you would.
This is my mum, she needs urgent spinal surgery, and I’m holding on to hope that together, we can make it happen.
Every donation, every repost, every prayer matters.
Thank you for standing with us.
Help MRS SARAH WALK AGAIN

@steezy10_ I miss this smile. ❤️
My greatest prayer is to see my mum smile like this again after her spinal surgery.
Please help us make that a reality. Donate. Repost. Pray.
Thank you so much.
