@WastefulTen9 They didnt explain it in the movie which did make it a bit confusing but to answer the Caine question files arent permanently deleted unless theyre completely overwritten so Caines files were still in the backup system

@ragyattha They did. Jax bore the consequence of running away from his problems by abstracting and going through more mental torture. The others bore the consequences of losing one of the only people stuck with them which itself is mental torture on them.
