@TyrantOppressor Wrong even after maurya period the buddhism flourished in india. Because the bactrian/Greek kings impressed the buddhism. Also the kushan empire was primarily buddhist, ruled india from 1st century to 3rd century.
In 7th century, harshvardhana the most powerful was a buddhist.
