@ZaneTaylor33@MVCMadness Letβs add Jerry Sloanβs former Bulls teammate Chet βthe jetβ Walker out of Bradley. 18,831 career NBA points and a 6 time all star. I would put Jerry Sloan as the 4th best player to come out of these 11 MVC schools.
@ZaneTaylor33@MVCMadness Ok, please name the βplayersβ from Belmont, Drake, Illinois State who are in the Naismith Hall of fame as βplayersβ. Also, name the players other than Larry Bird and Walt Frazier from these 10 schools who were better professional and college players than Jerry Sloan.
@REagles1982@MVCMadness Then could someone list all the Naismith Hall of Famers? Frazier/ SIU (player) Walker/Bradley (player) Sloan/UE (Coach), Collins/ISU (Contributor), Drake? Belmont?

@FatherHarry1@MVCsports@DrakeBulldogsMB@UIC_MBB 7 of the last 8 teams in the Arch Madness semifinals do not play football in the MVC. (Drake chooses to be in a weaker football conference) Is that an advantage in terms of being able to focus more NIL dollars to Men's Basketball?
@MikeReisSIU@SIUAlumni@SIUC Mike,
I thought the 76-77 starting 5 was the best since SIUC went to Division 1. I saw them play many times. Mike Glenn, Corky Abrams, Wayne Abrams , Gary Wilson and Richard Ford were an incredible team advancing to the NCAA sweet 16.
