Hello! I still live! I just haven't written anything in weeks. I need to do something creative, but I'm not sure how to get back to it. Drop short fic prompts? Or sketch prompts? Or fics for me to read? (Erasermic, I miss them!)

@balentay Hm, I was going to say that those also depend on relationships, but then I started thinking...all of the media that I can think of that has one character mostly be alone are video games. I've never written a fic for a video game before but I could!

I want to write but like... I'm really kind of burned out on the concept of romance. That wouldn't be a problem, just start a new fic/story with no romance, but like... I'm also just kind of burned out on the concept of like. Relationships. In the sense of two people interacting.

@balentay I'm just not sure I could make it interesting. I'm just so used to leaning on relationship tension to drive the plots of my fics. I know there are things like mysteries or heist plots that aren't driven by that, but that's not what I know how to write. Although it might be good

Last night I dreamed a surprisingly coherent fanfic.
The basic concept was that people had "quirkmates". Once you'd met your quirkmate, you could use a blended version of your two quirks, or your mate's quirk if they weren't using it at the same time.

The plot was mostly Aizawa and Mic training together with Aizawa's new quirk (since Mic met Midnight in high school and got his extra quirk then) and basically him learning how to actually laugh and also getting in touch with his actual emotions as a side effect.
