The wild thing about this entire sequence is that it’s completely irrelevant to the overall movie. It’s a 15-20 min sidequest with the sole purpose of shoehorning a Wolverine cameo into the movie & to pad the runtime. You can excise this scene completely and will have zero effect on the movie.
