Valve has hidden chicken pets in Counter-Strike 2, and this is one of the most random things they’ve added to the game.

Players can get a chicken egg through their weekly drop. The egg takes about a week to hatch into a chick, which you can feed and look after until it grows into an adult chicken.

The pets come with different skins and rarities, and players can apparently interact with them and watch them grow.

Valve didn’t even mention the chicken pets in the official patch notes. They just shadowdropped them into the game and let players discover them.
