I need your help.
YouTube's demonetization waves are ending careers. People who spent 10 years building their channels are watching it all disappear. I've been scared it's coming for us next. They already got one of my channels.
That's why I'm finally releasing our new app: https://t.co/mqUT6iKA41
Every show I make, all in one place. Listen free with our own ads, or become a member for ad-free everything, hours of members-only audiobooks, bonus episodes, a built-in ebook reader, playlists, and more.
This is how Darkness Prevails and Eeriecast survive whatever YouTube decides next. Even just listening at https://t.co/ShHzmmXMmq instead of here helps. Becoming a member helps more. I'm sorry if I'm begging, but YouTube has practically forced me to do it.
Existing Eeriecast Plus members: log in with your current email and password. You'll get an extended trial, then re-subscribe once on the new app.
Thank you! Seriously, I mean it!
🚨 WE DID IT. 🚨
We're thrilled to announce that, as of today, Chilling Tales for Dark Nights has officially been RE-MONETIZED on YouTube.
This wasn't something that happened quietly behind the scenes. Over the past several weeks, the horror community came together in a way we've rarely seen before. Dozens of affected creators and hundreds of passionate fans raised their voices across Twitter/X and beyond, demanding answers and accountability from YouTube after a wave of demonetizations impacted horror creators throughout the platform.
And for once, it appears they listened.
Do we suddenly trust YouTube? Of course not.
Do we have any guarantee they won't pull more shenanigans tomorrow, next week, or next month? Also no.
But today is still a victory.
Not just for Chilling Tales for Dark Nights, but for the entire horror narration community and every creator who fought to be heard. This outcome wasn't handed to us. It happened because creators stood together, fans refused to stay silent, and thousands of people made enough noise that YouTube could no longer ignore the issue.
To everyone who posted, shared, commented, tagged YouTube, signed petitions, spread awareness, and helped amplify our voices: thank you.
This happened because of YOU.
Please join us in congratulating all of the horror creators who have been re-monetized and give them a well-deserved round of applause. 👏👏👏
Today proves that when this community stands together, we can make a difference.
Thank you all for having our backs. We won't forget it.

Yes, the ethical thing to do is credit authors.
If they animate a narration without even asking, they're breaking copyright law against the narrator AND likely the author, too.
@DarkPrevails Asking you this because you may know. I watch a lot of horror story videos that are animated. The annoying thing is, some of these channels on Youtube don’t include who the narrations were by in the description. Aren’t they supposed to credit the narrators?
