On 21.01.2026, an awareness camp on #BalVivahMuktBharat was organised at Dalgaon Girls ME School, Darrang.

An awareness rally spread the message “Prohibit Child Marriage.” Students actively participated and were sensitised on child rights, helpline numbers 1098 & 181.

On 20.01.26, an awareness programme on the PCPNDT Act and #BaalVivahMuktBharat Campaign was held at Mangaldai Town Girls’ HSS to sensitise students on gender equality, prevention of child marriage and legal safeguards for children’s rights.

Hon’ble Assam CM Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma honoured 58 government-recognised journalists of #Darrang with a Gift of Goodwill at Mangaldai.
