Groundskeeper for the back to back USL cup champions Louisville City Football Club @loucityfc and the NWSL‘s Racing Louisville Football club @racingloufc
🚨 Grounds crew appreciation post 🚨
Thanks to the team that kept the pitch pristine while @loucityfc, @RacingLouFC and the @UFLKings were all in action this spring! Last weekend, that included our first overnight transition from soccer to football 👏
I was at Lynn Family Stadium for so long today that it turned from a soccer pitch to a football field. Crazy to watch it happen while we broadcasted the #LouCity game. Kings play their last home game in just over 18 hours!
The work doesn’t stop as we transition from Friday night UFL Football to Tuesday & Saturday soccer next week.
Mow, light aeration and scrubbing football paint lines to get a head start on the week ahead.
First UFL football game at Lynn Family Stadium. An entire team effort from setup, to gameday, to converting back to soccer this week. A wonderful event for the stadium and city.
The pitch is ready. The weather is perfect. The only thing missing is YOU 🫵
Our grounds crew has been putting in the work to make sure the pitch is pristine for tomorrow’s home opener against Miami FC!

New year, new goal posts and sleeves. Lots of goals went through the old ones but hoping these will bring some luck and championships to Lynn Family Stadium! Thankful for the warm weather this week to get this done. 66 days until the home opener!
Ryegrass has been added and we’re ready for the championship stretch! One week under blankets and lights. Green blanket (4th pic, on right) was a bit more successful than the white blankets despite being in the shadiest part of the field. 4lbs per 1000
Eintracht Frankfurt Preseason round 2. 10 days of two-a-days in this heat is no joke. Crew is killing it. Lots of water and divot walks. Incredible matchup; Aston Villa vs. Frankfurt this Saturday at Lynn Family Stadium.
With the flood waters gone, we’re back at our facility 🙌
Shoutout to the grounds crew for doing whatever it took to have the training pitches ready for our players!
