Congratulations Dusty, one of our Raywood #regenag farmers Dustin Pascoe was awarded a 2020 Nuffield Scholarship, researching the benefits of grazing crops to fill the winter feed gap in a changing climate. @FelicityHarrop@northcentralcma
City of Whittlesea has partnered with Deakin University on a Regenerative Agriculture for Climate Resilience project. The survey is the first stage of the project and is open to all farmers and agricultural practitioners. https://t.co/Qb6rcVwSiE
Super interesting research!
The cropping systems with the highest biodiversity had the most soil carbon.
This was explained by plant roots creating pore structures that favour microbial activity and protection of carbon.

**REMINDER** If you're a farmer around Maffra, Tatura, Serpentine or Birchip you might be able to take part in our On-Farm #IoT Trial but be quick, EOIs close on Friday. Go to https://t.co/iIRIVKjIh6 #VicAgIoT#agchatoz#agtech
Planned grazing is a great job:
1. Improving the soil, which
2. Increases productive capacity &
3. Saves money on feed purchasing
4. Allows close monitoring for animal health & performance
& best of all:
5. Is very satisfying as you get to make herds of cattle happy every day!
