Stark reality is that the offer will likely be accepted out of widespread financial hardship. Unions had a simple blueprint to follow for pay parity but have failed to deliver this in full despite unprecedented strike action! Not good enough imo

Today’s pay offer not reflective of pay parity! 22/23 Non consolidated payment not in line with that of NHS England. Average B5- B7 will receive £430-£720 less than England. 5% approved, but why should NI NHS workers have to compromise on the NCP!

@BrownAdey @BDA_Obesity @bda_renal I wasn’t aware the cut off was <30! I thought guidance was to ‘avoid in end stage renal disease’, which I was factoring to be in the <15 region. Medication licensing often a challenge in the renal population!

Does latest semaglutide guidance now suggest ability to prescribe outside of Tier 3/4 obesity services? Given the scarcity of such services this could be hugely beneficial to certain patient groups. Pts awaiting renal transplant with ⬆️BMI being one @BDA_Obesity @bda_renal
