0/ Realizing Ethereum’s potential takes a coalition of organizations working together in pursuit of a shared vision; a number of such organizations have come together over the last year, meaningfully strengthening the resilience and capacity of the ecosystem, among them:
🧵
@joechalom@ethlabs_org@fundstrat@BitMNR@ethereumJoseph When miners, researchers, institutions, and OG builders all back the same initiative - unprompted - that's not coordination.
That's convergent evolution.
Everyone reached the same conclusion independently 🙏📖
This is what people need to understand about Ethereum.
I fully agree with what @aerugoettinea is saying here, and it aligns closely with what @VitalikButerin and many others have been saying for years.
A lot of the criticism directed at the Ethereum Foundation comes from misunderstanding what the Foundation actually is and what its role is supposed to be.
The EF is focused on a very specific mission: protecting and strengthening the core properties that make Ethereum valuable in the first place. Privacy. Security. Decentralization. Self-sovereignty. Open access.
Ethereum is much bigger than the Ethereum Foundation. As Vitalik often says, the EF is just one node among many. It was one of the first nodes in 2015, but today it is one of many contributors helping move Ethereum forward.
For anyone who still doesn’t understand the difference between Ethereum and the Ethereum Foundation, take a look at this visual and spend some time researching Ethereum and the foundation 🙏
In my opinion, the Ethereum community including the EF, researchers, developers, builders, and so on, are collectively building some of the most important digital infrastructure humanity has ever seen📖✍️
That’s something we should be proud of, support, and make use of🙏
@Sharplink@ethlabs_org@BitMNR@ethereumJoseph Joseph Lubin just named the pattern: "Responsible Institutions and Stewards of Ethereum."
Not a foundation. A federation.
Ethlabs is the first of many steward nodes. This is how you decentralize governance without decentralizing into chaos 🙏📖
$BOOE has gained a lot of attention among $ETH holders.
Through building communities and movements, driving education, attending events and hackathons, and partnering with Ethereum-native projects.
You could call it a meme, but it’s more than a meme. It’s a brand, a culture, and a community that’s creating real value across the Ethereum ecosystem.
The best part? The story is still being written.
Over the past 10 years, Ethereum has quietly shipped some of the most important infrastructure upgrades in the history of the internet.
• The Merge → reduced energy usage by ~99.95%
• EIP-1559 → introduced a new economic model for digital money
• Beacon Chain → enabled decentralized staking at global scale
• Shapella → unlocked staked ETH withdrawals
• Dencun (EIP-4844) → made Ethereum dramatically cheaper and more scalable
These upgrades are why developers, institutions, governments, and companies continue building on Ethereum.
The next 10 years may be even more important.
• Scaling Ethereum to billions of users
• Stablecoins becoming a global payment rail
• Tokenization of RWA’s
• Onchain identity and reputation systems
• Privacy-preserving applications
powered by zero-knowledge technology
• Ethereum becoming the settlement layer for a growing share of the world’s economy
The story of Ethereum is about building a more open, programmable, and globally accessible financial and digital infrastructure.
10+ years in, and the next 10 will be even bigger🙏📖
Oh and for everyone who forgot it -> $ETH is the asset that secures and regulates the whole ecosystem, so of course $ETH will be the most important money within Ethereum 🙏📖
My and your future will be on Ethereum…
