Chennai could soon become the birthplace of India’s flying ambulance network.
IIT Madras-incubated ePlane Company has signed an MoU with Apollo Hospitals to deploy electric air ambulances and medical drones.
The plan:
🔹 Rapid transfer of trauma, cardiac and stroke patients
🔹 Delivery of blood, organs, vaccines and medicines
🔹 Access through Apollo’s network covering nearly 18,000 PIN codes
🔹 Full certification targeted by early 2027
ePlane already has a $1-billion order from ICATT for 788 air ambulances.
This is more than a hospital partnership.
It is Chennai combining healthcare, deep-tech and electric aviation to solve one of India’s toughest problems—getting critical care to a patient before time runs out

Groww made a profit of just ₹1,819 crores last year, while Zerodha made a profit of ₹4,237 crores, which is almost double.
Still, Zerodha is valued at just ₹75,000 crores, while Groww is valued at ₹1,30,000 crores, which is also almost double.
Not only that, but Groww has mostly investors, while Zerodha has mostly traders. For a broker, it’s easier to make money from traders than investors.
Therefore, either Groww is overvalued or Zerodha is undervalued. The valuations of both of them cannot stay so far apart for long.
Something big is definitely going to happen in the broking industry which will bring their valuations to equilibrium. Nobody can stop it from happening.
