MERRY CHRISTMAS!

[Josh Johnson @DarwinMNMayor]

Although Dr. Helmi (accordion lady) was unquestionably the star, Darwin and the @DarwinTwineBall were happy to be a part of the show and the Rediscovering America crew’s journey. Who knows, their “tea-wine” antics may even lead to a new Twine Ball Day event. 🙂 Thanks for stopping, pleasure to meet you all, and well done @CoreySmutledge et al

Ya…I’m thinking we’re back.

A look back at just a few of the things accomplished in 2025 through the Darwin Community Legacy Foundation. If you don't currently receive DCLF newsletters, please email the DCLF and we would be happy to add you to the list. Thanks to the work of Dave Kelly, supporter of all things Darwin, the newsletters are always very well done.
There is still time to make a year-end donation to support the work of the foundation. Please see included donation form if interested. Thank you DCLF donors for what we continue to accomplish in Darwin!

[Josh Johnson @DarwinMNMayor]

From what I have seen myself, and heard from others more active in the political process, David is one of the most responsive and competent operators in D.C. His time as a public servant and staffer suggest he is both principled and of high character. On top of that he is also a kind and friendly person. If travel expense leads to accessibility for constituents, then that seems like money well spent. All sides would be well served by having more Minnesotans like @dmfitzsimmons in Washington D.C.

Our next Darwin Blood Drive is 9/17. Please visit https://t.co/nNSbzejoBd to schedule an appointment. Thank you to our donors and volunteers for continuing to make this a successful blood drive!

Please join us in the park this evening for our annual community picnic! Thanks to the Darwin Lions for serving and DCLF and Community Club for sponsoring the meal.

These teams put on a terrific show for the 500+ in attendance. With an under 2 hour game - including all the between inning Darwin fun - you know these guys were dealing. Thanks for letting us be a part of it. Best of luck to @DCSaints and @LitchBlues the rest of the year! Go support them this postseason, they will both be teams to watch.
