With the 2026 WHL Draft now concluded, here's a spreadsheet I put together for the stats of all the CSSHL U15 Prep players broken down into a couple of categories. I did it out of curiosity and a bit of a way to check my own eye test. https://t.co/DAbqypxrph
@robert_turow What's the restriction on recruiting players other than the team has to hold his rights? Logically it makes no sense. The powerful teams with lots of money gain but each league doesn't have enough of those to sustain each of the 3 leagues over the long term in an open market.
Jack O’Brien is a Sun Devil 😈
After totaling 68 points (35G, 33A) across two ECHL seasons following a standout four-year run with the WHL’s Portland Winterhawks, O’Brien is officially headed to Tempe #BeTheTradition
@PrairieIRP Agreed. He was in my top 5 and you could make an argument that he has the highest offensive ceiling from this class which says quite a lot.
@Derek_N_NHL The new heirachy of junior hockey was always likely to look like this. The NCAA would take the elite, college eligible players from the CHL who would then fill that gap with players from leagues below (incl. USHL) Easy for the CHL with no loss of college eligibility anymore.
@_hockey_mind@PrairieIRP His individual skill level is high but there will be an adjustment period as he needs to learn to utilize and play with his teammates better which he did show the ability to do w/ extra time and space on the PP at the BC Cup. JPHL in BC is too weak to put him on this list for me
Never actually posted my 2011-born BC team for this year, might as well do it now.

@PrairieIRP Should've specified it's my personal all-BC team based on a combination of their seasons, how I project them in the future and just some recognition as well. re: Bradbeer, if it was the 6 best defensemen, I'd have put him in. More just some recognition for Chang as BWC's 1D.

And there goes Pitz to @SCBroncos. He had the 6th highest Pts/gm against top half teams in the CSSHL (1.68, only Dernisky, McMillan, Forestal, Bradbeer, and Antignani were higher) while his next closest teammate had 0.76. #WHLDraft
