BREAKING: YES! Democrats discover the PERFECT excuse to demolish Trump's hideous White House ballroom once he's gone — and there's nothing he can do about it!

This is exactly the kind of thing that we've been looking for...

A stunning new report from The Washington Post revealed that Trump repeatedly clashed with James McCrery II, the first architect to work on the ballroom project, over safety issues last year. McCrery ultimately resigned from the project.

According to "two people with knowledge of the discussions and corroborating documents," Trump insisted on design features that McCrery feared would violate building safety codes. Ironically, "safety concerns" are what Trump and his MAGA minions on Board of Trustees have used to justify their shutdown of the Kennedy Center.

The documents, which include Sharpie-marked images, also revealed that Trump is "deeply involved" in the details of the project. In other words, if anyone gets hurt in this building due to code violations, he will be directly to blame.

Before he left the project, McCrery sounded the alarm over and over again to Trump that his designs lacked an adequate number of emergency exit routes and fire-containment measures. The President seemingly didn't care if proper steps were taken to prevent a kitchen fire from "rapidly" spreading into the event space. There also weren't enough toilets to match the building's maximum occupancy.

“I am the code,” Trump said as a way of brushing off the concerns.

In September 2025, White House officials convened to review the ballroom design and to discuss "areas of concern” that had been voiced by the contractors.

“Life safety — big concern,” the notes read.

Under the law, any renovations and construction performed at the White House must comply with national building safety codes to the “maximum extent feasible,” unless there are national security concerns at play. Doubtless, Trump will claim that his design choices were rooted in such concerns, but it's a transparently false insistence that would never stand up in court. This isn't about national security. It's about vanity.

The simple truth is that this ballroom should have never been built. It's deeply unpopular with the American people, will cost hundreds of millions of dollars, and Trump's awful, gaudy taste clashes with the more simplistic aesthetic of the original White House.

When Democrats retake power, we need to bring the wrecking ball in on day one. Not only is this ballroom a monument to a pedophiliac war criminal's ego, it now seems that it's unsafe to even use. Democrats should cite safety concerns and knock it down.

Or screw it, don't give an excuse at all and just tear the damn thing down. If it was built without congressional approval, it can be destroyed without it.

BREAKING: Grieving families tell Congress ICE STILL won't reveal who killed their loved ones — or return their basic belongings.

At a congressional hearing led by Senator Richard Blumenthal and Congressman Robert Garcia, the families of Americans killed by ICE and Border Patrol delivered gut-wrenching testimony that exposes an agency still stonewalling basic accountability, months after their loved ones died.

Donna Granger, mother of Renee Good, who was killed by an ICE agent on January 7th, made clear this isn't a partisan grievance. "I'm a registered Republican. I voted for President Trump under the impression that these agents were here to protect the citizens of the United States, innocents like our family and the others here, against terrorists," she testified. "Certainly not to accuse those of us here of being terrorists and take precious lives. This is madness."

The sons of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, killed by ICE on July 7th, laid out a devastating pattern of shifting government explanations. DHS initially claimed their father was ICE's intended target, then admitted he wasn't. DHS claimed he "weaponized his vehicle," a claim directly disputed by three witnesses in the van with him and unsupported by available surveillance footage. DHS even suggested there may have been drugs in the vehicle, a claim later disproven by actual testing.

"We still have so many questions," Lorenzo Jr. testified. "What are the names of the ICE agents who killed our dad? Why do they get to be protected behind anonymity while my brother and I stand before cameras showing our faces, proudly saying our first and last names?"

His brother Ronaldo added a detail that captures the sheer cruelty of ICE's aftermath process: two and a half months later, the family still hasn't gotten their father's basic belongings back. No wallet. No phone. Just loose change from his pocket. "Our mom, that's all she wants back," Ronaldo said. "We have no idea where his things are or who might have them."

Congressman Garcia laid out the staggering scope of this crisis, noting that as of September 2026, Oversight Committee Democrats have documented over 1,000 credible, verified abuses tied to this administration's immigration enforcement. He listed the dead by name: Ruben Ray Martinez, Renee Good, Alex Pretti, Lorenzo Araujo, Johan Guerrero, and, just days before this hearing, Wilbur Perez, an asylum seeker shot and seriously wounded in Austin, discharged from the hospital with a bullet still lodged in his body.

"ICE and DHS are operating like Donald Trump's private personal army," Garcia said. "They're attacking communities. They're targeting people who are just trying to live and exercising their constitutional rights."

These aren't abstract statistics. These are American families, grieving fathers, sons, and mothers, still waiting months later for basic answers, basic accountability, and in some cases, basic possessions. Democracy shouldn't require a congressional hearing just to learn who killed your father, who should never have been killed to begin with.
