The Carolinas GCSA is now accepting applications for the Bennett-Maples Scholarships for 2024. Scholarship applicants must be a child or a legal guardian grandchild of a current superintendent or assistant superintendent member.

Attached is the 2024 Scholarship Application, the Standard Operating Procedures and the Biographies for Grant Bennett and Henson Maples, our founding fathers.

The deadline date for applications to be submitted is 5 PM on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.  Applications must be emailed and received by this date along with all required items including a high resolution photo.  Late submissions will not be considered.

The complete pdf file and a jpg photo should be attached to the email.  The photo must be at least a 300kb jpeg file.

Gotta highlight some cool things my friends at @gcsaa are doing: the most recent @firstgreenbygcsaa field trip was a huge success! Westminster National Golf Course in Westminster Maryland hosted the curious crew.
Shoutout to Ryan Kraushofer, CGCS - Superintendent @GolfSuper2GM and the @MidAtlGCSAA
They hosted 86 5th graders from Carroll County Public Schools

*To date, over 160 First Green Field Trips in 39 states introducing over 7,000 kids to careers in golf course management as well as the game of golf though hands on STEM learning labs hosted by golf course superintendents.
