Here’s a 1 min clip of Rich Mullins in honor of his death on Sept. 19, 1997. Classic. It’s from one of his last concerts before the car accident… he said this almost 30 years ago.🔥
Twelve years since you left us, Dad. And I never stopped talking to you.
I tell you about the people who write to me because you got them through their worst night. I tell you about the work, the wins, the days that ask too much.
Mostly I tell you about your grandchildren. They know your laugh. They ask about what you were like. I tell them you were kind.
You spent your life making people feel less alone. That job is ours now.
Miss you today. Miss you always. Love you forever.

"Any state, any entity, any ideology that fails to recognize the worth, the dignity, the rights of Man... that state is obsolete. A case to be filed under "M" for "Mankind" – in The Twilight Zone."
Today would have been my dad’s 74th birthday.
This season carries gravity. Father’s Day, his birthday, and the anniversary of his passing all fall within 60 days.
For me, grief has no straight path. It revisits, reshapes, and rises when I least expect it.
But alongside it lives a legacy built on generosity and kindness.
He made people feel seen. Gave permission to feel deeply and to laugh through pain. That mission continues.
To those carrying loss right now: you’re not alone.
Happy birthday, Dad. Love you forever.
Stop SB6 in Alabama - Protect Library Independence! This bill hands over control of library boards to local politicians, allowing them to remove board members at will and eliminate safeguards that ensure stable governance.
@DarthCalculus @LisaQthinks We should stand out for our love for one another- and this love should extend to our neighbors & “the foreigner”. You demonstrated this type of love beautifully in your YT vid “I Hope You’re Ok”. With this in mind, I think I get the gist of your need to deconstruct. Peace to you.
@DarthCalculus @LisaQthinks With the relatively basic instructions Jesus left his disciples, it seems that we who do proclaim to be Christ-followers have picked some strange hills to die on.
It’s human nature to want to understand the whats, whys and hows -but as Christians, we’ve lost the plot of our call.
