And, yes... they still lean in some direction but it’s easier to have conversations about certain issues when they aren’t tied to that label or as defensive. That is...if you can reach them.

Nonpartisan elections are my favorite, no division. Sadly our judges still have to run under partisanship or gain enough signatures to run as indep.
