I made this mistake for months, don’t do the same. 🛑⏳

I just received an automated email for my first two domain renewals.

It forced me to pause and realize something huge: the 19th June officially marks the 1-year anniversary since I stopped hiding behind code and put my very first app into the world.

Before buying those domains, I made that exact classic mistake…

I stayed stuck in development servers, tweaked local prototypes, and waited for a “perfect” concept.

I was completely hiding behind development code because launching felt too exposed.

Buying those domains was the exact inflection point where I stopped playing safe and committed to building in production.

Those first apps failed….

But shipping them into the real world taught me a vital lesson: you cannot think your way to a successful business. You have to execute your way there.

You have to ship, let things fail, and absorb the feedback to find the idea that actually sticks.

Every unused repository and domain purchase from this past year is exactly what got me to where I am today with CoachDog.
