I am sure I will run out of credits soon, but Cursor subagents are awesome.
I told @cursor_ai to fix all "Unexpected any" warnings from eslint. It is chewing through 765 warnings and within a few minutes we are down to ~260.
Truly incredible.
I have bought and sold so many homes at this point. I would make a great realtor. It is really frustrating watching some fool across the street mess up everyone's home values because they want to invent a different way to sell a home.
Redfin value at $960K, they list at $1.3M. No sign in the front yard. AI pictures of what the kitchen could be if you spend $100K making it perfect. No label mentioning that the pictures are AI (interested parties must have been pissed on walkthrough).
They drop it once to $1.25M. It was on the market for 7 months and now they pull the listing. June is usually a decent time to sell. I would have waited until July or August, but this is the 8th or 9th time the home was listed for sale in the past 17 years. They are the original owners and try to sell it every few years!
I think most people would assume something is wrong with the property when in reality they just don't know what they are doing.
Unbelievable.
@jackfriks I often find old git branches exist locally and take up a lot of space. Also I think turborepo had a bug where it consumes all available SSD space.
@geerlingguy I thought ipv6 had a routing efficiency advantage, but you are right. This is a failed project when compared to other improvements or framework rollouts.
@RealPostFolder My wife hasn't worked for years and I will gladly support her financially for the rest of her life. She has made me a better man and a stronger Christian. She brought three kids into this world (naturally). Simply an amazing woman who deserves all I can provide.
My daughter accidentally deleted her Stardew Valley game on the @NintendoAmerica Switch.
I can't believe they don't have a trash can to recover deleted saves from. 2 years of building her farm is gone and to a 7 year old that is a big deal.
If you want to give Cursor or Claude YOLO access to your local machine, just make sure you don't have any admin permissions to your production systems accessible from that machine.
This is simple but I keep seeing stories of production impacts due to agents run amok. I have admin permissions to dev environments and I let them run amok, but only promote code to production in a managed environment.

This desktop will close around $300, maybe $350 with fees for a great starter desktop. I bet it lasts 3-4 years at moderate workloads.
Bootstrappers, if you need decent Windows hardware at a low cost, check out Public Surplus. https://t.co/lSTBHZtV3v
I have purchased a few HP Z2 Mini G9 Workstations on there with 12th Gen i7 processors. They run well and are usually just at the end of the original warranty. So they aren't ancient.
You typically need to buy a power brick and maybe RAM and an SSD.
Salt River Project ships too!
