I think I’ve finally figured out what my real problem with season 2 is. We’re still dealing with the consequences of the writing decisions made in season 1.

And that’s what frustrates me the most. We’re still trying to fix the mess created when someone decided we needed a third person in YilSer’s story, followed by the whole pregnancy and baby plot.

Now, with the memory loss plot, Ercan seems to be trying to make Yildiz and Serhat fall in love all over again, while the children are clearly meant to bring back the story of the lost baby.

It feels like we’re revisiting old storylines instead of moving forward.

I just hope we won’t have to keep going around in the same circles for much longer and that we’ll finally be able to move on to new conflicts, new drama and new challenges for YilSer.

Because I don’t mind the drama. I just want us to stop paying for the writing decisions of season 1.

I understand her trauma, I swear and I know it's hard and we're not getting a perfect reunion where she just remembers everything..

But she chose to trust him and still she's acting like she's looking for any excuse to cancel it all and run back to the kids!

And my problem with that is personally I hate that Halef & YilSer's whole story is now about random kids who aren't even theirs. It ruins the core value of the story imo 😶
