It was a Saturday afternoon, and I had gone to a shopping mall to buy a few things before heading home. I never imagined that an ordinary shopping trip would turn into one of the most terrifying experiences of my life.

I was walking past a clothing store when I suddenly noticed a beautiful young woman staring at me from a distance. She looked frightened, and her eyes kept moving from one direction to another as if she were searching for someone.

Before I could understand what was happening, she suddenly ran toward me.

“Please! Please, help me!” she cried, grabbing my arm.

I was confused.

“Madam, what's wrong? Do you know me?” I asked.

She didn't answer. Instead, she held my hand tightly and moved closer to me, pretending that we were lovers who had just met.

“Baby, I've been looking everywhere for you!” she said loudly.

I stared at her in shock.

Baby? What was this stranger talking about?

I tried to ask her another question, but she squeezed my hand and whispered something that sent chills down my spine.

“Please, just pretend you know me. Don't let them take me.”

Before I could ask who she was talking about, I noticed three young men entering the mall. They were dressed in black, and their faces looked frighteningly serious.

The moment the girl saw them, she began trembling.

One of the men pointed directly at me.

“So you're the man she's hiding behind?” he shouted.

I raised my hands, trying to explain myself.

“Brother, please calm down. I don't know this girl. She just ran to me!”

But he wasn't interested in listening.

The girl suddenly hid behind me, crying.

“Please don't let them take me back!” she begged.

That was when I realized something terrible was happening.

The men surrounded us, and one of them grabbed my shirt.

“Stay out of what doesn't concern you,” he warned. “This girl belongs to us.”

I immediately pushed his hand away.

“Nobody belongs to anybody! If there's a problem, you can report it to the police.”

Those words made them even angrier.

One of them looked at the others and nodded.

Within seconds, they attacked me.

I tried to defend myself, but there were too many of them. Shoppers screamed and scattered in different directions. Some people ran toward the mall security desk, while others stood at a distance, recording what was happening with their phones.

I fell to the ground as the men continued attacking me.

Through the commotion, I heard the girl screaming my way.

“Please stop! He has nothing to do with this! I'm the one you want!”

But they refused to listen.

Suddenly, mall security arrived, shouting at everyone to stop. The men backed away, but before leaving, their leader bent toward me and whispered:

“You have made a very big mistake today. You don't know who you're dealing with.”

Then he pointed at the girl.

“We will come back for you.”

They hurried toward the exit before more security officers could arrive.

I struggled to stand, feeling pain throughout my body. The girl rushed toward me, tears streaming down her face.

“I'm sorry,” she whispered. “I'm so sorry. I never wanted this to happen to you.”

I looked at her, still trying to understand everything.

“Who are those people? And why are they after you?”

She looked around nervously before answering.

“My name is Sandra. That man you saw is my boyfriend. But he's not an ordinary boyfriend. He's involved with a dangerous cult group, and I've been trying to escape from him for months.”

My heart sank.

Sandra explained that her boyfriend had become controlling and threatening. She had discovered things about his secret group that frightened her, and when she tried to end the relationship, he refused to let her go...
