As a sessional instructor unable to strike, offering high-quality education to CS students will remain important to me. I support my striking colleagues @OntarioTechCS. I will be extending my amount of office hours voluntarily, to assist any CS students in need of help. See below
Office Hours:
Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 1:30 to 3:30pm
I am available through Gather Town.

I will do my best to help everyone I can, but please be considerate of students from CSCI 2040U and CSCI 4020U.
I've been at @ontariotech_u for 7 years. Spanning my https://t.co/gSyVEiLi1d to now a proud sessional instructor. I've watched Computer Science grow from cohorts of 60 to 150+, yet the full-time faculty members didn't see similar growth. I support @UOITFA .
A few notable quotes that have stayed with me throughout my education are the following:
“You are what you choose to be.” – The Iron Giant 1999
“The greatest adventure is what lies ahead.” – J.R.R Tolkien
A special acknowledgement goes to my supervisor Faisal Qureshi, for supervising my Masters thesis. His advice, mentorship, and ability to always see the positive in a scramble of work always helped steer me in the right direction throughout my studies. @faisalzqureshi
Please join us this afternoon (May 6th) at 2pm for a CS Seminar by Michael Lombardo, MSc student, titled "Understanding Gene Model Maps." https://t.co/J6keVhNSVH #OntarioTech
Excited to announce I have been awarded the Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS). These scholarships are awarded to high-ranking students at universities across the province. This scholarship will be held for 2021-2022 as I approach defending my Master's of Science.
Excited to have just registered to present my MSc work at @_OWCV - "Understanding gene model maps". An amazing opportunity to present my collection of applications using deep learning and computer vision to parse gene model maps in front of the leaders in my field of study!
In today’s #3MTOntarioTech preliminary rounds the Visual Computing Lab had two MSc students participating — Michael Lombardo (@DatLombardo) and Chirag Karia (@theKidKych). Well done Michael, Chirag and all of the presenters! @OT_gradstudies #3MT#OntarioTech
@randy_fortier @ontariotech_u Well deserved award, your extra hours of hard work to tweak classes and change them to benefit students really benefits students well 👍🏼
