Dear Lord,
Today, I pray for my turn. You know my struggles, and You know what my heart desires. I pray for a shift in my circumstances. Prepare me for my abundance. I declare that whatsoever I ask in Your name will be multiplied. God is about to show off for me. In Jesus’ name. Amen🙏🏽
Chris Johnson’s ALS diagnosis stopped me in my tracks. Professional athletes move so beautifully, your mind never lets them slow down or stop. Then real life reminds you they do, we all do. I’m thinking about CJ2K and his family tonight.
A man can be unhappy in a marriage and still not move first because in his mind, he’s not just leaving a relationship, he’s breaking a home he built. That shift matters to him more than people think.
There’s also the provider mindset. Even when things are off, many men keep trying to hold the structure together, fix what’s broken, or endure it quietly. Not always out of weakness, but because walking away feels like failure of something they were supposed to maintain.
And then there’s the reality of consequences. Divorce for men often means losing access, stability, money, or time with children. So even when they’re checked out emotionally, they hesitate to be the one who pulls the trigger.
So it can look like “men waiting,” but it’s more like men holding onto structure until it collapses or someone else decides it’s over.
That’s the home builder nature. They don’t easily abandon what they’ve invested in, even when it stops feeling good.
Gotta realize some women’s trauma bonding is hating men everyday. And it’s some niggas trauma bonding is to hate women everyday. All y’all fuckin bozo’s in reality tho.
Dear Lord,
Today, I pray for the ability to prioritize myself. I always go all out for everything and everyone except for myself. Please help me to use some of the blessings You give me for my own well-being because I cannot pour from an empty cup. So, Lord, please fill my cup with all the beautiful things that I need, such as mental stability, inner peace, and unmerited favor. Then, I will be able to be fruitful and pour into others. In Jesus' name, Amen. 🙏🏾
