On the occasion of National Handloom Day, I had the privilege of distributing handloom sarees and blankets to the needy, as a humble gesture of service and also to encourage the invaluable work of our handloom weavers.

Every handloom product carries within it the skill of an artisan, the livelihood of a family and the cultural heritage of Bharat. Supporting handloom is not merely about choosing a fabric — it is about standing with our weavers and preserving a proud tradition passed down through generations.

Later, I joined the National Handloom Day celebrations at the Handloom Showroom, Nampally, along with Shri @Dattatreya Ji, former Governor of Haryana; Smt. @vjbandarubjp, State Secretary, BJP Telangana; Shri Anand Goud, State President, OBC Morcha, BJP Telangana; Shri Vanjari Mahesh, BJYM leader, and other leaders and karyakartas.

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s vision of Vocal for Local and Atmanirbhar Bharat has brought renewed focus to our traditional crafts and the hands that sustain them.

As part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls, the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and Booth Level Agents (BLAs) visited the residence of Shri Bandaru Dattatreya, Former Governor, at Ramnagar, Hyderabad,9th July 2026. at 11:00 AM.

During the visit, the officials handed over the Enumeration Form as part of the ongoing house-to-house enumeration exercise for the Special Intensive Revision of the electoral rolls.
