HIGH LEVERAGE IS GAMBLING?
I’ve seen traders using as low as 20x leverage go to zero just because they entered with high margin. I’ve seen spot traders go to zero simply because they bought a random token that never returned to their entry price. I’ve also seen traders using 200x leverage survive and make money safely.
Yet people often call high leverage traders gamblers, while believing spot and low leverage traders are low risk or no risk; quietly blowing their accounts to zero anyway.
So it’s not really about leverage or no leverage. It’s mainly about position size and how much capital you expose to the market. What truly matters is risk management: the percentage of your portfolio you’re risking. You can risk 50% of your portfolio in isolated mode with only 10x leverage and get completely rekt. Or you can risk just 1% with 200x on cross, using a stop loss, and still trade safely and consistently.
It’s never about the leverage. It’s about the position size.

> Entry exactly at the liq level I’ve been pointing out for days.
> ~$150M position sitting at 71.87k → front-ran the 0.786 slightly.
Let’s see if the level holds.
Big liquidity clusters are forming for $BTC to the downside.
There's one sitting around the $72,000 zone, which could be taken out first.
Overall, the max pain has shifted to the downside here.
