Eustacia Vye combines soft apricot-pink blooms with beautifully ruffled petals and a rich fruity fragrance. A repeat-flowering English shrub rose that brings colour, scent and elegance to the garden from late spring into autumn.

It's Rose Awareness Week. A week that exists to celebrate and inspire a love of roses in gardens everywhere.
Whether climbing a wall, trailing over an arch or filling a border, there's a rose for every garden.

When the sun is out, there’s something to be said for stepping outside and taking a moment among the roses.
With warmer, brighter days, a little extra attention with watering will help keep plants settled and comfortable, especially in containers and newly planted roses.
@sehsmiffy@sehsmiffy Thank you for sharing, and we’re very sorry for your loss. It’s lovely to hear your mum’s garden is surrounded by roses she loved, and that the Sir David Beckham rose arrived well for your neighbours.
@MarkSmyth1960 Thank you for the tag. Apologies but please may we check what roses it is you are looking to gift. We have a selection of garden roses available to order but sadly no miniatures.
Soft blush buds opening to luminous white, touched with pale pink and hints of yellow. Sir David Beckham (Ausa34b16), a rose of natural charm and abundant beauty.

@MarcHaller21 From the photograph provided, I would agree that it doesn’t look like suckering growth.
Suckers from the rootstock tend to look quite different in foliage and flower.
It looks like your rose is doing exactly what we would hope to see.
@sorcererpds The size we advise is a general guide, but The Ancient Mariner can often grow larger especially in rich soil, good feeding, and a sunny position. It sounds like yours is very content and happy. You can keep it in shape with light pruning after flowering if needed.
@Jnobcryingbaby Thank you for getting in touch. Roses quite often bloom slightly differently on their first flush of the season, which would explain this deeper pink colour.
Keep an eye on it over the summer, and feel free to get back in touch if it continues to bloom this deep colour🌹
@likesretirement The King's Rose is indeed our rose, which was our new release in May 2025, but we can confirm that this is not the King's Rose. It looks to be an older variety and not a DA bred rose, unfortunately.
@aaaawells We're very sorry for any inconvenience. Our US office is currently experiencing a high volume of enquiries, which has led to slightly longer response times. Rest assured, if you’ve emailed, the team will respond as soon as possible.
Shrub roses form a naturally bushy shape, producing generous blooms, rich fragrance, and repeat flowering throughout the season. They bring structure and softness to borders and mixed planting, blending easily into both formal and relaxed garden settings.
