Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2’s new protagonist already has fans nervous 😨

A new look at Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 from the Annecy Animation Festival appears to spotlight an unnamed young blonde character holding a camcorder, and fans are already treating it like a warning sign, not an introduction.

The character has not been officially named yet, but the camcorder detail has sparked theories that this story could follow someone documenting Night City’s violence from a more personal, street-level perspective.

The sequel is confirmed as a new standalone 10-episode story set in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe, with a brand-new cast and a focus on redemption and revenge. CD Projekt RED and Studio TRIGGER are working together again, with Netflix attached for a future release.
