SERVICE
I’ve been trying to put into words what I saw last night.
What struck me most wasn’t the fight, the venue, or the people in attendance.
For one night, the focus was on veterans, service members, first responders, and the men and women who have dedicated their lives to something bigger than themselves. I honestly can’t remember ever seeing an event of that scale centered around honoring them.
As I walked away, one thought stayed with me.
Of all the things I’ve accomplished in my life, the greatest honor I’ve ever earned is knowing that one day, when my time comes, an American flag will be draped over my body.
Not because of who I am, but because of what that flag represents.
Freedom. Opportunity. Love. Faith. Good.
When I think about last night, that’s what it was really about.
A country honoring those who have served it, and a reminder that there is no greater privilege than earning the right to be covered by the flag of the nation you love.
Thank you, President @realDonaldTrump , for opening the White House and creating an opportunity for so many Americans to come together and celebrate this country and the people who have dedicated their lives to serving it.
God Bless America. 🇺🇸
Gaethje passing by Teddy Roosevelt, moments before he beats the shit out of the foreign sitting champion on the South Lawn in front of a crowd of 80,000. This is America.
@ufc@Justin_Gaethje@cryptocom This was pretty sweet to attend. All the fight cards were solid, especially this one. Job well done to everyone involved in setting this up.
The SOF community is mourning the loss of MARSOC Marine Raider Luke Focer, who passed away suddenly this past weekend.
He was 38 years old.
Focer served as an infantryman, Scout Sniper and MARSOC operator. He deployed multiple times in support of the Global War on Terrorism.
Eighty-two years ago today, freedom stood on the edge of extinction, and Allied forces stormed into hell to help save the world.
We will never forget the courage, the sacrifice, and the blood spilled on that fateful day.
@Mrgunsngear Adding all that shit just makes it heavier. Carrying this in the mountains of Afghanistan—even on short patrols, was physically brutal. Great MG, though. I loved it.

Also known as Marine Corps Security Force CQB Teams, these elite tactical units help guard specific US Naval facilities.
@USAfricaCommand Imagine being that guy wasting decades on a jihad excursion, just to find out on the other side—you don't have any virgins. Lights out. Thanks for playing.
Last night U.S. forces, in coordination with the Armed Forces of Nigeria, killed Abu-Bilal al-Minuki and other ISIS leaders.
Back in November 2025, President Trump declared to the world that we will help protect Christians in Nigeria and instructed the Department of War to prepare for action. So, for months, we hunted this top ISIS leader in Nigeria who was killing Christians, and we killed him—and his entire posse.
In conjunction with Nigeria’s President, and at the direction of President Trump, U.S. Africa Command oversaw a precise operation to remove this terrorist.
Abu-Bilal al-Minuki was the senior ISIS General Directorate of Provinces Emir — the number two for ISIS globally — responsible for overseeing the planning of attacks, directing hostage-taking and managing financial operations. The removal of him and other ISIS personnel makes Americans safer by further degrading ISIS’s ability to plan and carry out attacks that threaten the U.S. homeland, American citizens, and innocent civilians.
Operations like last night’s demonstrate the exceptional lethality, patience and skill of U.S. forces, amplified alongside willing and capable partners, to address shared threats. This should serve as a reminder that we will hunt down those who wish to harm Americans or innocent Christians, wherever they are.
